Military Student Support
We proudly welcome military families from all branches of service and are honored to support you through Raven’s six offices located in Anchorage, Delta, Eagle River, Fairbanks, Juneau, and Wasilla. Our team understands the unique demands of military life and is committed to providing consistent, reliable support regardless of duty station or transition. No matter where you are located in Alaska or which branch you serve, we are here to partner with your family and ensure you feel connected, supported, and valued.
Our program is strengthened by a dedicated team that includes staff members with prior military service, as well as those who are spouses of veterans or active-duty service members. This firsthand experience provides them with a deep understanding of military culture, expectations, and the unique challenges faced by service members and their families. As a result, our staff are especially well equipped to offer informed guidance, practical support, and meaningful advocacy for current service members enrolled in our correspondence program.
Nine percent (9%) of Raven student body is comprised of military- connected students. We have Raven families that are serving on active-duty at Eielson AFB and Fort Wainwright, AK Air Guard, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Fort Greely, Clear Space Force Station, DoD personnel, AAFES, and Military Veterans, and Retirees!

Tutor.com for U.S. Military Families, funded by the U.S. Department of Defense Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) General Library Program, and Coast Guard Mutual Assistance (CGMA), is a program that provides on-demand, online tutoring and homework help at no cost to eligible service members, civilian personnel, and their dependents.
